Mushishi Manga Story
The Mushishi manga tells stories that happen in a made-up time between olden days in Japan. It’s got bits of technology from the 1800s, but Japan’s still keeping to itself. In these stories, there are these creatures called Mushi. They seem to have strange powers and are way simpler than animals or plants. Most folks can’t see Mushi because they’re like ghosts, but a few can. One of them is Ginko, the main character. He’s a Mushi Master who travels around helping people with Mushi problems. Ginko’s got one green eye and can attract Mushi, so he’s always moving and smoking special Mushi Tobacco to keep them away. Each story in the series is separate, with Ginko and Mushi being the only things that tie them together. Ginko seems pretty easygoing, but he’s serious about his work protecting people from Mushi. He believes Mushi aren’t bad, just trying to survive like everyone else. Most of the time, the stories aren’t about Ginko himself, but he’s the one who helps move things along by figuring out Mushi issues.
